HOW TO APPLY
If your organization is interested in applying to participate in iCLEAN, your first step is to complete an application. To begin, download the application here: iCLEAN Client Application. Complete the application and send it to Nicholas Querques at nquerques@albany.edu.
Once your application has been reviewed, you may be asked to meet with the Board of Advisors. If the Board of Advisors and the iCLEAN site director approve your application, you will be notified of your acceptance into iCLEAN and will work with the iCLEAN site director to organize the specifics regarding space, needs, services, and other logistical items.
iCLEAN focuses on startup companies but expands its offerings to other more mature organizations that require technology, market or business development assistance in order to succeed. Typical organizations that are fostered through iCLEAN include:
Made up of students, faculty, or simply someone with a great idea; this type of business most commonly receives on-site fostering and assistance in creating a business plan or demonstrating proof of feasibility of the product.
The company has an idea, a prototype, a business plan, and no revenue. iCLEAN provides product testing and enhancement, access to tools, and market deployment strategy.
The organizations in this category have a proven product but are looking for further growth in new markets. iCLEAN will assist them in exploring alternate product uses or untapped markets, review the company's overall strategy, and assist in marketing any new products or services.
