Renewable Energy Information

The Energy & Environmental Technology Applications Center (E2TAC) at the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (CNSE) was the recipient of PON 8371, "Expanding Renewable Energy Businesses in New York State".  The PON was issued by the New York State Energy Research Development Authority (NYSERDA).  The goal of the project is to encourage growth in renewable energy technology in potential and existing companies of all sizes, particularly those in solar cells, power electronics and advanced materials.

The three year project began in July 2004 and was completed on time in June 2007.  The links below offer information on companies and universities (NYS only) involved in clean energy technology, as well as IP and funding information. The project focuses on three areas: power electronics, advanced materials, and solar cells.
